Ordinarily Available Inclusive Practice (OAIP)
Most support at Marwood happens in the classroom.
Through our Ordinarily Available Inclusive Practice (OAIP) approach, teachers adapt learning so that all pupils can access lessons successfully and participate fully in school life.
You may see:
- Communication Stations
- Visual timetables
- Adapted instructions
- Vocabulary support
- Additional processing time
- Flexible grouping
- Scaffolded learning
- Sensory resources
- Calm and predictable classroom routines
These approaches help children develop independence while receiving the support they need.
Our goal is to help children learn successfully alongside their peers whenever possible.
